Not only are we the most stylish city in the U.S. as well as the most travelled to U.S. city in 2011, but we also have the most desirable landmarks. A recent survey by Travel + Leisure Magazine asked readers what they thought were the most iconic landmarks in the world, and it should come as no surprise that no less than 5 of the top 20 landmarks are located right here in the Big Apple. Coming in at number 1 is Lady Liberty herself, beating the likes of even the Eiffel Tower. What is surprising (although not unworthy) is the beautiful High Line with it’s unprecedented views, which came in 10th place.
