Your Neighborhood at a Glance: The Best Sushi Near Our Offices
We know your dilemma.
You stopped by one of our 21 offices throughout the Tri-State Area to meet with one of our agents or to tour some of our thousands of available exclusive listings and then you say to yourself…
”I am craving the best sushi this neighborhood has to offer”.
Rest assured, your answers await below:
Upper Manhattan, NY: Sushi of Gari, make sure you have a reservation, because this place is packed every single night of the week. This place has earned critical acclaim through serving innovative sushi dishes and putting care and thought into every roll. A nice change-up for sushi lovers.
Midtown Manhattan, NY: Sakagura is a hidden gem. It’s not your traditional sushi place, as the dishes are more authentic Japanese than standard Americanized sushi. A delicious sake collection compliments everything on the menu.
Downtown Manhattan, NY: Ushiwakamaru, there’s only one word, wow! These masterful chefs craft sushi that is simply outstanding. This place came up more than any other on our list, head over if you’ve never been and are dying for that perfect sushi experience.
East Hampton, NY: Bamboo, located at 47 Montauk Highway, offers an intimate atmosphere (perfect for date night), a great bar and drink menu, and gracious service. The food is divine! The rock shrimp tempura appetizer is superb, and all the classic sushi and sashimi rolls are made to perfection. They also offer a great prix fixe menu on weekdays.
Brooklyn, NY: Momo Sushi Shack has people raving, and our agents say it’s the best sushi in Brooklyn, maybe in all the five boroughs. In a great location, right off the Morgan Ave L train stop, Momo serves up creative rolls and combinations that are sure to please. Try the Party Bomb for a complete experience.
Hoboken, NJ: Sushi Lounge has a nice, modern decor and an extensive menu that any sushi lover will appreciate. Everything is done right. Our agents recommend the Spicy Banana Tempura and South of the Border specialty rolls.
Fairfield County, CT: Tengda may classify itself as Asian fusion, but don’t let that fool you, they do sushi right. Their other Asian dishes are great (the Pad Thai is a favorite), but the sushi is simply fantastic. Specialty rolls like the Angel Roll and the Fairfield Roll come highly recommended.
Riverdale, Bronx, NY: The sushi and sashimi at Planet Tokyo is fresh and delicious, and the portions are heaping. The miso soup is well done, not too salty. Try the Magic Tower and the Beato Box B, and bring your appetite.
