Like We Always Say, Green Is Better

The New York City Parks Department’s Green Teen program, in partnership with the 125th Street Business Improvement District, is holding an anti-litter video PSA contest to promote the importance of keeping our city clean and beautiful.

Teens ages 13-17 who are participating in video programs or school/community teen programs are eligible. They can submit a video that creatively encourages the public not to litter and to use the appropriate receptacles to discard garbage and recyclables in our parks and green spaces. Videos must be no longer than 30 seconds. Entries can be emailed in QuickTime format to green.teens@parks.nyc.gov and must include the home borough in the subject line of the email. If the submission cannot be emailed, they can sent to any of the following locations:

The last date for submission is April 9th at 3pm. The winner will be announced on May 2nd and will have their video shown at the NYC Parks summer outdoor movie series.
